Phil will discuss the status and implications of important legislative issues, including SOPA, PIPA and the first proposed amendments to the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act since its enactment in the late 1990s. He will also provide an update on Congressional hearings involving ICANN's new gTLD program. Finally, Phil will discuss the continuing use - and abuse - of domain seizures as a key means of IP and criminal law enforcement.
